Mission

Empowering communities to drive environmental renewal, mobility justice, and honest dialogue through action, storytelling, and youth-led innovation.

Why “Voices of Change”?

About S.I.T.T.Y. – Stay In True To Yourself : Founded in 2018, S.I.T.T.Y. (Stay In True To Yourself) is a community-driven platform focused on personal growth, authentic connection, and social impact. We harness the power of storytelling and real conversations to uplift voices, drive meaningful change, and build bridges between communities in the United States, Kenya, and the diaspora. Our mission is to foster spaces where individuals can grow, connect, and contribute—while staying true to who they are.
The name comes from a simple idea: change doesn’t happen in silence. It happens when people speak—raw, honestly, and without filters.
Voices of Change was born from conversations—real ones—about the emotional weight of mental health, the urgency of climate collapse, and the need to reimagine systems that leave too many behind.
We don’t just talk. We build. We clean wetlands. We mentor youth. We restore dignity through mobility and public space. Every action is a statement: people matter, the earth matters, and so do the stories we live and tell.

History

Voices of Change started as a conversation between friends and collaborators:
“What could we be voices of—even while balancing work, life, and everything in between?”

That simple question sparked something bigger.
What began as a podcast became a space for vision and momentum. Listeners became collaborators. Conversations became projects. And small ideas—like restoring a single wetland or supporting young people on bikes—turned into lasting work.
Since then, Voices of Change has mobilized community clean-ups, trained a cohort of young leaders, and shaped a platform where storytelling and strategy come together.
We’re not trying to go viral. We’re trying to go deep—into systems, into communities, and into the future.
